Steve Meredith, MBA
Mr. Meredith is a Director in the GE Healthcare Partners organization with more than 15 years of healthcare experience. He supports senior hospital and healthcare leaders in solving complex strategic and operational challenges. He has assisted clients in assessing their operational performance, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing then implementing solutions to drive measureable improvements in patient throughput and capacity management. Mr. Meredith has expertise in leveraging advanced analytics and other workflow technology to enhance both the assessment process and solution design. He has used simulation modeling to support the design of both outpatient and inpatient facilities and has also supported clients in activating strategies and improving performance in targeted areas through the application of six sigma, lean methodologies, and successful change leadership principles.
Prior to GE, Mr. Meredith held a variety of leadership roles in healthcare, management consulting, and manufacturing. At McKesson Corporation, he led a team of consultants with responsibility for optimizing supply chain performance to improve client delivery and reduce overall cost to serve. He also helped McKesson assess, pursue, and realize opportunities to expand product offerings and enhance revenue streams through strategic partner relationships. In addition, Mr. Meredith spent several years as a management consultant where he worked with manufacturing clients to improve overall operational performance of manufacturing plants. He started his career in a manufacturing leadership development program with International Paper.
Mr. Meredith holds a master's of business administration with distinction and a bachelor's of science in engineering, magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan.
