Based on the framework described in The Unwritten Rules: The Six Skills You Need to Advance to the Executive Level by John Beeson, this assessment tool allows you to consider the core selection factors used by most organizations in making decisions about who does and does not advance to the C-suite or executive level within their systems.  This assessment has been designed for two equal stakeholders in the promotion process: Aspiring Executives and Executive or Talent Development Staff.  Completing this self-assessment requires a high degree of objectivity and self-reflection about the skills you have yourself or within your organization. In some cases an executive or Talent Development staff member is interested in continued personal career growth. In that case you are encouraged to complete both assessments.
